<p><b>Hydraulics</b></p>
<p>The outlet on the pressure side is designed as horizontal flange connection. The maximum possible dry matter is 8 % (depending on the hydraulics). Vortex and single-channel impellers are used.</p>
<p><b>Motor</b></p>
<p>The motor versions used are single-phase current and three-phase current surface-cooled motors. For single-phase current motors, the condenser is installed in a separate switchgear. Depending on performance, activation is carried out via direct startup or star/delta startup.</p>
<p>The motor is cooled by the medium around it (pumped fluid or air). The waste heat is dissipated via the motor housing.</p>
<p>The motors can be immersed during continuous duty (S1). In submerged operation, the operating modes S1 (continuous duty), S2 (short-time duty) or S3 (intermittent) are possible depending on the rated motor power.</p>
<p>Furthermore the motors are equipped with the following monitoring devices:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leakage detection motor compartment: The leakage detection signals water ingress into the motor compartment.</li>
<li>Thermal motor monitoring: thermal motor monitoring protects the motor winding against overheating. Bimetallic strips are used for this as standard.</li>
</ul>
<p>The motor can also be fitted with an external sealing chamber electrode to monitor the sealing chamber. This signals if there is water ingress into the sealing chamber through the mechanical seal on the fluid side.</p>
<p>The connection cable has bare cable ends and a length of 10 m as standard, and is available in following versions:</p>

<p><b>Motor</b></p>
<p>The motors available are surface-cooled motors in single-phase version (with built-in operating capacitor) and three-phase version for the direct starting. The waste heat is given off directly to the surrounding fluid via the motor housing. These motors can operated immersed in continuous duty (S1) and non-immersed in short-time duty (S2) or intermittent periodic duty (S3).</p>
<p>Furthermore the motors are equipped with thermal motor monitoring. This protects the motor windings against overheating. For units with single-phase AC motors this is built-in and switches automatically. I.e. if the motor is switched off due to overheating and then cools down it is automatically switched on again. Bimetallic strips are used for this as standard.</p>
<p>In addition the motor can be equipped with an external sealing chamber electrode for monitoring the oil barrier chamber. This signals if there is water ingress into the oil barrier chamber through the mechanical seal on the fluid side.</p>
<p>The connection cable has a length of 10 m as standard and is available in following versions:</p>

<p>The motors are equipped with a thermal winding monitor. This protects the motor windings against overheating. Bimetallic strips are used for this as standard. Motors in the P-version are also equipped with motor compartment monitoring. The moisture probe signals water ingress into the motor compartment.</p>
<p>Furthermore, the motor can also be fitted with an external pencil electrode to monitor the sealing chamber. This signals if there is water ingress into the sealing chamber through the seal on the pump side.</p>
<p>The connection cable has a length of 10 m as standard and the single-phase version is equipped with a plug. The three-phase version has bare cable ends as standard and is cast as longitudinally watertight for P-version motors.</p>

<p>The outlets on the pressure side are designed as vertical threaded flange connections. Open multi-channel impellers are used as the impeller shape. A strainer is integrated at the hydraulics housing.</p>
<p><b>Motor</b></p>
<p>Surface-cooled motors or sheath flow-cooled motors in single-phase current version (with built-in operating capacitor) and three-phase current version for direct starting are used:</p>
<ul>
<li><b>Surface-cooled motors:</b> The waste heat is given off directly to the surrounding fluid via the motor housing. These motors can operated immersed in continuous duty (S1) and non-immersed in short-time duty (S2) or intermittent periodic duty (S3).</li>
<li><b>Sheath flow-cooled motors: </b>The waste heat is transferred to the fluid via the motor housing. The motors can be used in immersed state and in non-immersed state for continuous duty (S1).</li>
</ul>
<p>Furthermore the motors are equipped with thermal motor monitoring. This protects the motor windings against overheating. For units with single-phase AC motors this is built-in and switches automatically. I.e. if the motor is switched off due to overheating and then cools down it is automatically switched on again. Bimetallic strips are used for this as standard.</p>
<p>The connection cable has a length of 10 m as standard and is available in following versions:</p>

<p><b>Pump with vertical float switch</b></p>
<p>The &#8220;VA&#8221; version is equipped with a vertical float switch. In this version, the switching level is preset by two floaters sitting on a threaded rod. It uses less space than conventional float switches and is perfect for use in tight manholes.</p>
<p><b>Seal</b></p>
<p>There is a sealing chamber between the motor and hydraulics. This is filled with medicinal white oil. The unit is sealed on the fluid and on the motor side by mechanical seals.</p>

<p><b>Motor</b></p>
<p>The motors available are surface-cooled motors in single-phase version (only MTC 40) and three-phase version for direct starting. The waste heat is given off directly to the surrounding fluid via the motor housing. These motors can operated immersed in continuous duty (S1) and non-immersed in short-time duty (S2) or intermittent periodic duty (S3).</p>
<p>Furthermore the motors are equipped with thermal winding monitoring. The thermal winding monitor protects the motor winding from overheating. Bimetallic strips are used for this as standard.</p>
<p>The connection cable has bare cable ends and is 10 m long as standard. The &#8220;A&#8221; model is equipped with a float switch and shockproof plug.</p>
<p><b>Seal</b></p>
<p>There is a sealing chamber between the motor and hydraulics. It is filled with medical white oil and protects the motor from media ingress by the seal on pump side. Pump-side and motor-side sealing is available in different versions depending on the motor type:</p>

<p><b>Hydraulics</b></p>
<p>The outlet on the pressure side is designed as horizontal flange connection. The maximum possible dry matter content is 8 %, depending on the hydraulics and impeller type. The following impeller shapes are used:</p>

<p>The sewer hydraulics are equipped with an impeller wear ring and casing wear ring made of hardened material. These contribute long-term to ensuring the uniform efficiency of the unit and minimizing maintenance costs.</p>
<p><b>Motor</b></p>
<p>Surface-cooled motors (T motor) do not have a cooling system of their own and emit their heat directly to the surrounding fluid via the housing parts. The motors can therefore be used in immersed state for continuous duty. Depending on their size, they can also be used in non-immersed state for short-time duty.</p>
<p>The self-cooling motors (FK, FKT, HC motors) have an active cooling system and transfer their waste heat to the medium being pumped by means of an integrated heat exchanger. Therefore, these motors are suitable for continuous duty in immersed and non-immersed condition, and therefore also for dry well installation.</p>
<p>All motors have a sealing chamber that protects the motor from fluid ingress. It can be accessed from the outside and can optionally be monitored with a rod electrode. All filling fluids used are potentially biodegradable and environmentally safe.</p>
<p>The connection cable has bare cable ends and a length of 10 m or a customer-specific length. The cable inlet on T, HC and FKT motors is longitudinally watertight.</p>
<p><b>Seal</b></p>
<p>Fluid-side and motor-side sealing is possible in the following versions depending on the motor type:</p>
<ul>
<li>Version H: Mechanical seal for the fluid side, rotary shaft seal for the motor side</li>
<li>Version G: Two independently-acting mechanical seals</li>

<p><b>Hydraulics</b></p>
<p>The outlet on the pressure side is designed as a vertical threaded connection Rp 1½ with an integrated non-return valve. Semi-open channel impellers are the impeller type used.</p>
<p><b>Motor</b></p>
<p>Single-phase or three-phase current version surface-cooled motors with thermal motor monitoring. In the single-phase version, motor monitoring switches automatically. The waste heat is given off directly to the surrounding fluid via the housing components. As a result, these units must always be immersed for permanent or intermittent operation.</p>
<p>A sealing chamber protects the motor from fluid ingress. The filling fluid used is potentially biodegradable and environmentally safe.</p>
<p>The detachable connection cable has a length of 10 metres and has bare cable ends. A version is equipped with a float switch and plug.</p>
<p><b>Seal</b></p>
<p>Fluid-side and motor-side sealing is performed by bidirectional mechanical seals.</p>
